Christian Jacobs is an American singer, musician, producer, voice actor, and actor. He is the lead singer of the rock band The Aquabats.
Christian is the son of Rebecca Anne (Richards) and Kimball Lee Jacobs. He is married, and has four children.
He is a second cousin of musician James Valentine. Christian’s paternal great-grandparents, Nephi James Valentine and Ottolina Azalia Benson/Bengtson, were also James’ paternal great-grandparents.
Christian’s paternal grandfather was Heber Grant Jacobs (the son of Henry Chariton Jacobs and Emma Rigby). Henry was the son of Henry Bailey Jacobs and Zina Diantha Huntington. Emma was born in Utah, the daughter of English parents, William Frederick Rigby and Mary Ann Eckersley.
Christian’s paternal grandmother was Erma Caroline Valentine (the daughter of Nephi James Valentine and Ottolina Azalia Benson/Bengtson). Nephi was born in Utah, the son of Valentin Valentinsen, who was Danish, and of Johanna Jönsdotter, who was Swedish. Ottolina was born in Malmö, Sweden, the daughter of Lars Bengtson and Carolina Petronella Anderson.
Christian’s maternal grandfather was the son of LeGrand Richards and Ina Jane Ashton. LeGrand was a prominent missionary and Mormon leader, and was the son of George Franklin Richards, whose mother was English, and of Alice Almira Robinson. Ina was the daughter of Edward Treharne Ashton, whose parents were Welsh, and of Cora May Lindsay.
